A Statement of Faith

The Scriptures:

The Scriptures are inspired of God and are innerrant in their original languages

they in their entirety reveal God's design and plan for mankind.

One God:

There is only one God. He is revealed in three persons.. the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is know as the Holy Trinity.

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ:

As God's Only Son, Jesus was both human and God.

Man Williingly Fell to Sin:

Although man was originally created good, his willful choosing sin ushered evil and death, both physical and spiritual into the world.

Restoration:

Every person can have restored fellowship with God through the Gift of Salvation.

Salvation is received by faith in Jesus shed bloodand sacrificial death as the one and only redeeming fact that bridges the gap between God and Man. This faith is expressed in repentance and public profession of faith. The spirit of man is reborn as a result of true repentance.

Water Baptism:

This act is a public confirmation of dying to the old life and being "born again" into a new life.

Holy Communion:

The Lord's Supper as a symbolic remembrance of Christ' suffering and death for our salvation.

Sanctification Initially Occurs at Salvation:

God decalres the believer holy, but there is also a progressive lifelong process of separating from evil as the the believer continually draws closer to God by and through faith and obedience becomes more Christlike.

The Great Commision:

The church or body of believers, regardless of denomination, has a mission... as Jesus did and commanded to seek and save those that are lost in sin and without hope. Then to make disciple of the converts.

A Divinely Called and Scripturally Ordained Leadership Ministry:

This ministry serves the body of believers. The Bible teaches that each of us under leadership must commit ourselves to reach others with the message of salvation, to worship God with other believers and to seek to build up others in the faith.

Divine Healing of the Sick:

Healing is a privilege of Christian believers today provided in the atonement of Christ's Sacrifice... "By His stripes we were healed." Healing is recieved individually by faith and by the annoiting with oil and prayer from the elders of the church.

The Blessed Hope:

Jesus will rapture His Church prior to His return to Earth. (The Second Coming) at this future moment in time all believers who have died will meet the Lord in the air and Believers who are alive on earth will be caught up with them to meet the Lord in the air. They will then live with the Lord forever.

The Millenial Reign of Christ:

Jesus returns with His Saints at His Second Coming and begins His benevolent rule over earth for 1000 years. The millenial reign will bring salvation to the nation of Israel and establish universal peace. 

Final Judgement:

Those who have rejected Christ will be judged for this sin and consigned to eternal banishment from the presense of God and consigned to the lake of fire. 

The New Heavens and a New Earth:

Christ is preparing for all people of all time new heavens and a new earth where there will be no more sorrow and we shall live with him forever. in peace and prosperity.
